Hi there We just came back from 10 days in Maui and had a wonderful time. We stayed at the Grand Wailea and the Marriott Maui Ocean Club.... both were fantastic. I am writing my review on the Tennis pro and facility at the Hyatt which was next door to the Marriott. I played each day and took a lesson... more

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Maui and were more than happy with our stay. We booked on priceline and paid around $190US plus mandatory $15 resort fee. The room was nice and beds were comfortable. We have travelled a lot and this is truly a nice resort with probably the best pools and landscaping out of all the... more

We stayed at the Hyatt in February 2008 and liked it so much we came back for my birthday in October of the same year. The staff bent over backwards to give us a room in the location we wanted. Brunch was included in our package and while pretty similar each day, it was always good. The service in the... more

Like many others have mentioned here, after reading many of the reviews, I was nervous about my decision to choose this hotel. It is rated a four-star hotel, but I don't know that I could say that in good faith after my stay. Upon arrival we received leis and upon learning it was our honeymoon were given a free photo... more

Please be aware of this hotel based on what you are accustomed to. If you do not travel often or you are ok with staying at an Econo Lodge, Red Roof Inn, Days Inn or a Super 8 motel – then you would think the Hyatt Regency Maui is a grand hotel (compared to what you are accustomed to). However,... more

First of all, NEVER EVER BOOK WITH EXPEDIA! Gah! The headaches! The Hyatt was amazing! From arrival to departure, we felt pampered and taken care of. The grounds are amazing and so well kept! I never got a chance to enjoy the pools but they looked divine. I also absolutely LOVED the wildlife in the resort. The food was pricey... more

This hotel gives you what you would expect from the Hyatt Regency chain in terms of facilities. They were good, the hotel was clean with great communal space and large pools that catered for adults and families. However, we spent 6 nights out of season at the hotel but still struggled to get a pool lounger as the number was... more

We arrived at our hotel and thought the grounds were beautiful, very very nice. However when we finally reached our room, it was not much different than a Holiday Inn, or Best Western, just a simple room with a couple of beds and a table and a couple of chairs, no flat screen just archaic crt, ?? what are we... more

We just arrived home after 7 glorious days in Ka'anapali. Overall it was a fabulous experience; we thoroughly enjoyed the recreation amenities (tennis courts, daily tennis clinics, beach, health club, spa and pools) and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food offered at various restaurants on the property and at the Regency Club. Food: the convenience of 4 restaurants... more
