First Impression of hotel was positive from the moment we drove in. Great parking proximity, and a comfortable lobby. When we got to the 5th floor(top), our room was further to the end of the hallway. A smoke smell was obvious when we left the elevator, not overwhelming. We stayed at the Aku Tiki Best Western for two night in August with a group of 20 lady golfers. The golf package was great! The rooms were very nice. I don't know how they do it at the beach. Found this hotel after some research on Trip Advisor and was really happy with it. I booked using the Hotels website and paid the cheapest rate which meant i could have ended up in any room. Very Clean, Nicely Remodeled, Great Location, Friendly and Helpful Manager. I don't really have any complaints. Only things I would add: free complimentary breakfast (breakfast was available in the restaurant, but I think it was $8) and a better TV (they need to upgrade them, the picture was blurry). more
