My husband and I have stayed here three times prior, in 1999, 2000 and 2004 and always loved it here. The amenities, pool and price are great. This place was probably built in the 1970's. The bathroom was very tiny and only had a shower. But the beds were comfy and the kitchenette was decent size (has a full size fridge, gas stove, oven, and microwave, plus all the dishes and pans you'll need). Nested along with the big Motel's and Condo's are the Beach Cottages, recently remodeled, clean, quiet, and a pleasant throwback to what "old Flordia must have been like" We watched the Atlantis Shuttle Launch during our stay. A short distance away is the "Top of Daytona" the view from there is a must see!!! more

We loved our stay here so much, we have booked our next trip for May 2006. The staff is very attentive, rooms are clean and the view is breathtaking. The pool area is great. Can't wait for this year's trip.....This is a great place to get away from it all... more
